Our Vision
Our Story
Rocky Mountain Opera Company, LLC, was founded in 2010 to provide opportunities for mature singers aged 45 and up to continue to develop their art and to share their expertise and joy of singing with others.
Our initial projects will be concerts of arias and opera scenes, with plans to expand to full productions in the future.

Our first concert, Summer Songs & Scenes, took place on Friday, July 30, 2010, at 7:30 p.m. at Broadway Music School, 1940 S. Broadway, Denver, CO 80210. Arias were by Mozart, Puccini, Strauss, Verdi, Wagner, Menotti, and others, plus the Libiamo from La Traviata by Verdi as a finale. Our piano collaborator was James Myers.
Upcoming: monthly performances on one Sunday afternoon per month at Liberty Heights in Monument, Colorado. More later as details are confirmed.
Creation of The Opera Box, a shortened version of Siegfried, complete with swordfights and dragons, to be taken to schools to introduce students to opera.
